Cookies
MeddyCare uses essential cookies only on the marketing site. We don't run tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioural fingerprinting.

The short version
Under UK PECR (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) you only need a consent banner if a site sets non-essential cookies. We don't, so there's no banner. That isn't an oversight, it's a policy choice.
What we actually use
| Name | Set by | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Session | Anti-bot challenge while you complete the enquiry form. Strictly necessary. |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | 30 minutes | Bot management for the site. Strictly necessary. |
meddycare:intake | MeddyCare | ~30 days | Saves your in-progress enquiry answers in localStorage on your own device, so you don't lose them if you reload mid-form. Never sent to our server. Strictly speaking this isn't a cookie; it's local browser storage, but PECR treats them similarly. |
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: no client-side identifier is stored, and we don't build a behavioural profile. The traffic we see is aggregated page-view counts plus referrer and country, nothing tied to you.
What changes if you sign up for a portal account
The MeddyCare portal (the app you use after you start care) uses session cookies for login state. Those are documented separately on the portal app's cookie page.
